Thursday June 22nd, SCANPUB and the rhetorics group was happy to receive Lisa Villadsen from the University of Copenhagen to the institute for information- and media science at the University of Bergen.
Villadsen, one of Denmark’s foremost professors on rhetoric, held a guest lecture called “Doxa, dissent and challenges of rhetorical citizenship”. The lecture discussed controversies, dissent and rhetorical citizenship in connection with Denmark’s immigration and refugee debate. The presentation was primarily based on the article of the same name.
